Stuart Dawson

Stuart has over 30 years of experience in advanced manufacturing across the aerospace, nuclear, and hydrogen technology sectors. For the past 13 years, he has been with the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), including four years as its Chief Technology Officer. Currently, Stuart is the Chief Engineer for hydrogen with a focus on helping UK manufactures decarbonise gas fuelled high temperature processes that can’t be electrified. He is also a member of the Foresighting Team for the DESNZ-funded Hydrogen Innovation Initiative. Stuart is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the IMechE and has Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Technology.
