Background in Community Development through Environmental Projects. Studied, lived and worked in Leeds and Bradford since 2000, volunteering on community gardens in early 2010s sparked a passion for how transformative this work can be, worked on local food projects before joining Hyde Park Source in 2013. Increased impact and reach of Hyde Park Source, from small grant-dependent charity focused on local area, to city-wide organisation with resilient finances, creative outputs and significant outcomes.
Hyde Park Source improve health & wellbeing through improving the environment – Community Gardens, Design & Build, Outdoor Education & Movement Building. We work as the Nature Transition Partner for Climate Action Leeds as well as engaging with networks and research projects around broad themes encompassing nature connection and community development.
