Neil Dewis

Neil is a Director within WSP UK’s Water Strategic Advisory business leading on Strategic Asset Management.

Prior to this engagement Neil was Director of Water at Yorkshire Water which provides water and sewerage services to over 5 million people in Yorkshire every day. Neil took up the role in 2019 and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the water business and a member of the Executive Leadership team. He is also a non-executive Board member of Water Regs UK which is a subscription membership company working on behalf of UK water companies.

Neil is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Water and Environment Management with a background in Environmental Science. He spent five years modelling and investigating water distribution systems before joining Yorkshire Water. Prior to his current assignment leading all aspects of the water business, Neil held several positions in Yorkshire Water in regulation, strategy and customer service. His principle skill set is in developing strategy and translating it into operational plans to deliver improved performance whilst generating value through improved efficiency.
