Martyn is an expert in Education, Skills and Future Talent with a strong track record of unlocking funding and designing innovative and practical solutions for local and national Government, and the private and third sectors.
Prior to Creaticity, Martyn led, developed and delivered multi-million-pound programmes as Head of Employment and Skills for Leeds City Council and has advised regions on how to implement national policy to drive economic development in collaboration with corporates and UK Government organisations (Home Office, Department for Education, Department for Work and Pensions) and has chaired a core cities task force on future skills.
He has led a number of regional programmes, bringing stakeholders from across West Yorkshire together, to develop and implement policy, unlock funding, and has driven genuine public-private collaboration across the regional skills agenda.
