Femi Omoniyi

Femi is the West Yorkshire net zero project manager for the Northeast and Yorkshire Net Zero hub; he is also a project development lead for the net zero and energy team at the West Yorkshire combined Authority leading on a range of projects supporting the climate and environment plan for West Yorkshire. Prior to his current role, he has varied industrial and research experience working on several hydrogen project as a scientist and process engineer.

Femi is currently leading on a study funded by the North east and Yorkshire net zero hub on establishing a regional hydrogen roadmap for the region. This study carries out an assessment of hydrogen deployment and demand in the North East and Yorkshire region with the view of creating a roadmap for hydrogen deployment. The study also carries out a standalone local area analysis on the value and use case of hydrogen in different sectors in West Yorkshire.
