Erin McGurk
Founder, Girl Economics
Erin McGurk is an 18-year-old student and social entrepreneur. As founder of Girl Economics, Erin works with female economists and business leaders to inspire more young women to choose careers in traditionally male-dominated sectors. She has worked closely with leaders in sustainability in Greater Manchester and across the country, notably advising future NHS environmental sustainability policy during her time on the NHS Youth Forum.
Erin will be reading Economics at the University of Cambridge next year, where she plans to scale Girl Economics into a nationwide network of societies within universities and sixth form colleges.
