Anna is a lawyer and advocate for SMEs and founder led businesses, challenging the long standing status quo of slow, stuffy, expensive law firms. SMEs are the backbone of our economy but are often let down by traditional legal services. Anna heads up ALT Legal, a modern law firm, looking after SMEs, ensuring legal support is relevant, accessible, affordable – and fun!

Many of ALT Legal’s clients are progressive start-ups, scale ups and SMEs, with a common goal of disrupting within their own industries who want a legal partner who shares their enthusiasm for innovation whilst looking after their people, community and environment.

ALT Legal advise businesses on environmental, social and governance matters as more and more focus is placed on ESG by investors, funders and customers. Anna is a Founding Board Member of One for the City, a platform established to create a community of businesses committed to growing a more inclusive economy and to champion business to become a force for good that benefits wider society and the environment.

One for the City allows businesses to donate 1% of their revenue or profits to support local charities and organisations in Leeds in conjunction with Leeds Community Foundation and with support from Leeds City Council.
