We believe passionately in the power in our regional economies when it comes to tackling the climate crisis. Our vision is to build a global sustainability network, region by region, supporting those deep in the work and those who are curious about the opportunities within the green economy.

Our community is rooted in optimism and hope, so when you attend our events, you'll find leaders taking a can-do attitude to solving the biggest challenges of the climate crisis, whilst being sensible and realistic about the challenges we face. We believe that by working together, we can transition the UK economy to be rooted in sustainability. Our network reach has expanded in 18 months to over 8,000 sustainability leaders, passionate about working together to challenge the status quo, re-write the rulebook, and transform our communities to build a sustainable UK.

We built and delivered Yorkshire Sustainability Week 2023, the biggest gathering of sustainability professionals in the North of England. We brought together 1,200 delegates across 20 events in 15 locations over one week in July. In 2024, we expanded this to become Yorkshire Sustainability Festival, running 40 events across Yorkshire delivered over a fortnight and bringing 1500 people together in person. At our flagship conference, we brought together over 700 leaders from within business, the public sector, academia and young people to showcase and develop plans to expand the green economy in Yorkshire.

Later this year, we'll be expanding our reach to deliver Symposium roundtables in York, Bradford, Sheffield and Hull, bringing together leaders from across public, private and third sectors to discuss policy, funding and collaboration opportunities on key topics including green skills, retrofitting and infrastructure, energy transition and transport development.

We'll also be hosting 2 one day conferences on Green Skills and Green Finance, bringing together over 300+ leaders from across the public, private and third sectors. Head to our events pages for more information on these events.

In 2025, Yorkshire Sustainability Festival will return bigger and better than ever with a vision to deliver over 60+ events across the region. Our flagship conference is taking a national approach, becoming RE:Generation Earth, a 2 day conference, bringing together over 2,000+ sustainable pioneers to grow the green economy, transform our communities and challenge the status quo. Expect it to be the biggest celebration of the green economy the UK has ever seen!
